TRADING HALT REQUEST
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Venturex Resources Limited (ASX: VXR), I request the securities of the Company be placed in a trading halt pending an announcement regarding a significant acquisition.
We expect the trading halt to end upon the release of an announcement prior to commencement of trading on Thursday, 20 August 2009.
Neither the Board nor I are aware of any reason that the trading halt should not be granted.
