Deutsche Konsum REIT-AG acquires four retail properties with anchor tenant REWE Group
Broderstorf, September 12 th 2017 -Deutsche Konsum REIT-AG (ISIN DE000A14KRD3) has notarised the acquisition of four retail properties.
These properties comprise the retail centre “Luisencenter” in Hettstedt (Saxony-Anhalt) as well as two supermarkets in the cities of Kelbra (Saxony-Anhalt) and Schwerte (Northrhine-Westphalia). All properties are let to the anchor tenant Penny Markt (REWE Group). Moreover, the company has acquired a small retail centre in Langenwolschendorf (Thuringia) with anchor tenants REWE and TEDi. Transfer of titles of all properties is expected to occur on 1 November 2017.
The total rental space of all four retail properties amounts to 8,000 sqm and is fully let. Annualised rent of these four assets currently amounts to kEUR 660. Regarding the total investment of EUR 5.8 million this leads to an initial yield of 11.4 %.
Taking into account these acquisitions the current property portfolio of Deutsche Konsum (pro forma) comprises 65 retail properties with an annualised rent of EUR 25.5 million.
Moreover, Deutsche Konsum is active in concrete purchase processes which shall be closed successfully during the fourth quarter 2017.
