The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Deutsche Börse: Results of business year 2002 materially above guidance Deutsche Börse Group today announced that it would significantly exceed its expectations for Earnings before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) for the year ended 31 December 2002: the target of EUR 320 million would be exceeded by approximately 10% giving an expected result of EUR 350-355 million after goodwill and exceptional charges. The higher profit stems from the positive development in trading activity in the fourth quarter of 2002, which has remained strong in January 2003.
