Changes in the composition of the Executive Board of Deutsche Börse AG were
announced today. Matthias Ganz and Mathias Hlubek have resigned from their
position as Members of the Executive Board of Deutsche Börse AG effective
today. The contracts of employment have been revoked amicably and in mutual
agreement. This has been announced by Deutsche Börse on Wednesday.

Matthias Ganz has been responsible for Operations since 2003, Mathias
Hlubek has been Chief Financial Officer of Deutsche Börse since 2001. Reto
Francioni, CEO of Deutsche Börse AG, will assume Mathias Hlubek’s
responsibilities at Deutsche Börse AG on an interim basis in addition to
his own tasks. The responsibilities of Matthias Ganz will be taken over by
the other Members of the Executive Board in their respective business
segments.
