Item 8.01. Other Events.

On April 4, 2011, Denny’s Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has approved a new share repurchase program to repurchase up to 6 million shares of its common stock. The Company has successfully completed its previous 3 million share stock repurchase program announced November 9, 2010. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report Form 8-K and is hereby incorporated by reference.
