Subsequent to the meeting of the Supervisory Board of today, MAGNAT Real
Estate Opportunities GmbH & Co. KGaA (ISIN DE000A0J3CH0) informs that Peter
Waldner resigns as CFO due to health reasons. Juergen Faè, 39, will take
over the CFO position with immediate effect and form the Management Board
of the company together with CEO Jan Ruester.

In his previous function as a manager at Österreichische Post AG, an
Austrian listed company, Juergen Faè was responsible for M&A activities as
well as for Corporate Finance and acted as managing director of
subsidiaries in Germany, Slovakia and Austria. After having earned his
degree at Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, he
started his professional career at KRAFT Foods. Thereafter, he was a member
of the Executives Team of the global management consultancy Accenture.

The chairman of the Supervisory Board, Prof. Dr. Werner Schaffer, and the
CEO, Jan Oliver Ruester, comment: 'We thoroughly regret Peter Waldner’s
resignation and especially thank for his deep commitment and his excellent
teamwork. Peter Waldner had the leading part in setting up and growing
MAGNAT. He managed the IPO in 2006 as well as the upgrade of MAGNAT to the
Regulated Market in October 2007. At the same time, we are very pleased
that, with Jürgen Faè, we were able to quickly find a perfect succession.
We wish Mr. Faè all the best in his new function.'
