Dominic Köfner appointed as new head of corporate communications of MAGNAT
REAL ESTATE OPPORTUNITIES

Frankfurt, July 17th, 2008 – MAGNAT REAL ESTATE is strengthening its
management team by appointing Dominic Köfner as head of corporate
communications.

Mr. Köfner will take care for press relations and especially for investor
relations. With this appointment MAGNAT REAL ESTATE is aimed at increasing
quality of its communication activities. Being listed at the General
Standard segment of Frankfurt stock exchange it is the objective of MAGNAT
REAL ESTATE to deliver best-practice investor relations.

Jan Oliver Rüster, CEO of MAGNAT REAL ESTATE: 'We are happy to welcome Mr.
Köfner in our management team. With his international experience in

Dominic Köfner has been a consultant for strategic financial communication
at Brunswick Group LLP. He advised international and national corporate
transactions and investor relations mandates. He holds a Master degree and
pursued an university program at Frankfurt School of Finance passing
examination as a Certified Investor Relations Officer.
