Frankfurt am Main, August 7, 2013 – MAGNAT Real Estate AG (‘MAGNAT’, ISIN DE000A0XFSF0) announces its name change to DEMIRE Deutsche Mittelstand Real Estate AG. The amendment to the Articles of Association which was approved with a majority of 99.99 percent on the Extraordinary General Meeting of June 27, 2013 has been since recorded in the commercial register.
Andreas Steyer, DEMIRE Deutsche Mittelstand Real Estate AG’s Speaker of the Management Board (CEO) comments: ‘With the name change we have taken a further decisive step forward in the realignment of the Company. We continue to work vigorously on building a value-generating German real estate portfolio and to dispose of the remaining investments in Eastern Europe and the Black Sea region’.
Going forward, DEMIRE Deutsche Mittelstand Real Estate AG will focus on investments in existing real estate for entrepreneurial medium-sized companies (‘Mittelstand’) in Germany.
The Company’s headquarters will remain in Frankfurt/Main. The shares will continue to be listed in the General Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the familiar ISIN. Effective today, the ticker symbol will be changed to ‘DMRE’.
