Pursuant to section 29 of the Danish Securities Trading Act, Demant hereby makes public that the company has received the following announcement:

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board has in a number of transactions reduced its direct and indirect holding of voting rights and share capital in Demant to below 5% as at 23 August 2021.
