William Demant Holding updates merger agreement with Otix Global

Today, William Demant Holding hassigned an addendum to the existing merger agreement withthe US hearing aid company Otix Global, Inc. according to which Otix's stockholderswill receive a total settlement ofUSD64.2million, corresponding toapprox. DKK 343 million or a price of USD 11.01per stock. Theupdated offer is thusan increase of theprices stated in the original merger agreement entered intoon 13 September 2010and the amendment dated 6 October 2010, respectively .

We still expect to be able toclose thetransactionas previously communicated inCompanyAnnouncement no 2010-13 published on 13 September 2010.
