Clarification re Sierra Leone

Deltic Energy Plc, the AIM quoted natural resources investing company progressing its high impact exploration and appraisal portfolio focused on the Southern and Central North Sea, notes the contents of the recent press release (the "Press Release") issued by Rystad Energy, the independent energy research and business intelligence company providing data, tools, analytics and consultancy services to the global energy industry.

The Press Release stated that Deltic Energy had "picked up substantial acreage in Sierra Leone" in 2020 as a result of licencing awards in that country.  This statement is incorrect.  Deltic's focus remains entirely on its portfolio in the Southern and Central North Sea.
