Delivery Hero enters MDAX

6 June 2018 – Deutsche Börse has decided to include the shares of Delivery Hero AG in the MDAX market index, which will become effective on 18 June 2018. The inclusion of Delivery Hero AG is based on the fast entry rule; the company is eligible for the index inclusion due to its market capitalisation and order book turnover. The MDAX index tracks the 50 largest and most liquid German companies below DAX.

Delivery Hero shares made their trading debut on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on 30 June 2017. In September 2017 Delivery Hero shares were included in the SDAX.

Niklas Östberg, CEO of Delivery Hero, commented: “We are excited about the inclusion in the MDAX, not even one year after our market debut. We take this as further incentive to pursue our vision.”
