AUSTRALIAN EXPLORATION MANAGER
The Directors of Deep Yellow (DYL) are pleased to advise that it has recruited Sandy Moyle to its Executive Management Team.
Mr Moyle joined DYL on 4[th] February as its Australian Exploration Manager . With 27 years experience behind him Sandy will be responsible for the day to day management of DYL’s extensive tenement portfolio in Australia and importantly will mentor and lead DYL’s growing exploration team based in Mt Isa, Alice Springs and out of the Perth Office.
Sandy graduated from the University of Adelaide with a BSc Hons Degree in Economic Geology in 1980. He joined Kennecott Exploration working in Australia, the Pacific Islands and the USA through to 1992. He had direct involvement in the discovery of the Lihir gold deposit in PNG and held the position of Regional Exploration Manager – Southwest Pacific. Sandy then joined Ashton Mining / Aurora Gold as General Manager - Exploration through to 2000 with direct involvement with the discovery of the TokaTindung gold deposit in Indonesia. Subsequently he has consulted on projects throughout Australia and SE Asia, was General Manager - Exploration for Redport Limited during their resource definition at the Lake Maitland uranium deposit in WA. Sandy joins DYL from a position of Chief Geologist Mt Gibson Iron.
Sandy will be based in DYL’s Perth Office and will report directly to the Executive Directors, Dr Leon Pretorius and Mr Martin Kavanagh.
The Australian exploration budget for calendar 2008 approximates $6 million and will see a focus on:

JORC resource delineation at the Queens Gift project, Mt Isa;
-
RC percussion drilling at over 10 prospects in the general Mt Isa-Cloncurry district based upon 2007 targets;

Regional programmes aimed at targets development will also be fast tracked in the Mt Isa district;

Ramp-up of exploration activity in the Northern Territory following first time access for uranium exploration on several properties in the Alice Springs district.
DYL and its exploration team will greatly benefit from Sandy’s extensive hands-on Australian experience.
