Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Dechra is pleased to announce the appointment of Anne-Francoise Nesmes as Chief Financial Officer. She will join the Group and the Board on 22 April 2013. 

Anne-Francoise, a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, joins from GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) where she has worked since 1997. At GSK she held a number of finance roles, currently as Senior Vice-President, Finance, of Vaccines based in Belgium. With GSK, Anne-Francoise has developed her experience in a variety of roles including internal audit, corporate planning, commercial finance and between 2003 and 2006 was Vice-President Finance Controller for Europe.  

Prior to joining GSK Anne-Francoise had finance roles with John Crane, Tetra Pak, ADP and Caterpillar UK. Anne-Francoise is a French national, holds an MBA from Henley Management College and a Master in Management Sciences from Grenoble Business School. Anne-Francoise started her career in the UK before moving to Belgium, Sweden, and the US. She will relocate to the UK on taking up her position with the Group.

Commenting on the appointment, Mike Redmond, Chairman of Dechra said:

There are no other matters which require to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules in respect of this appointment.
