Appointment of Chairman Designate

DCC plc, the sales, marketing, distribution and business support services group, announces the appointment of Mr. John Moloney as Chairman Designate, to succeed Mr. Michael Buckley, who has been Chairman since May 2008 and a non-executive Director since September 2005, and who intends to retire from the Board in September 2014.

John Moloney (59) joined the Board of DCC plc in February 2009.  He retired as Group Managing Director of Glanbia plc at the end of 2013, after 12 very successful years in that role.  He is Chairman of Coillte Teo (the Irish State Forestry Company) and a non-executive director of Greencore Group plc, Smurfit Kappa plc and a number of private companies.
