DBA GROUP ANNUNCIA L'ENTRATA IN ESERCIZIO DELLA PIATTAFORMA PORT-LINE PER LA GESTIONE DELLE OPERAZIONI LOGISTICHE NEL NUOVO PORTO DI BAKU.

VILLORBA (Treviso), 9 gennaio 2018 – DBA Group S.p.A., società italiana di consulenza tecnologica, specializzata nella connettività delle reti e nelle soluzioni a supporto del ciclo di vita delle infrastrutture annuncia l'avvio ufficiale dell'utilizzo della piattaforma port-line per la gestione delle operazioni logistiche portuali nel nuovo porto di Baku

Si è appena svolta la cerimonia di inaugurazione presso il nuovo porto di Baku ad Alat e i primi camion sono stati caricati in nave presso il nuovo terminal Ro-Ro alla presenza del Presidente della Repubblica dell'Azerbaigian, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Il nuovo terminal composto da due attracchi sarà in grado di gestire 2 milioni di tonnellate di merci o 60.000 camion all'anno.

Tutti i processi operativi sono gestiti da Port-Line, il software sviluppato da DBA Group. Alla fine del 2016 DBA Group era stata chiamata a sviluppare un software per la gestione delle operazioni logistiche per il nuovo Porto di Baku situato a 70 km a sud del capitale, vicino alla piccola città di Alat, parte del Greater Baku.

Port-Line costituisce l'avvio per lo sviluppo di una piattaforma telematica per la completa automazione della movimentazione delle merci in transito nel nuovo porto di Baku. Consentirà, inoltre, l'integrazione tra gli attori della comunità logistica portuale e la trasmissione della documentazione commerciale e doganale delle merci trasportate lungo la via della seta tra Est ed Ovest.

Il software Port-Line risponde infatti all'esigenza del governo locale di creare una e-platform moderna con funzioni di Hub per facilitare i flussi commerciali da e verso Russia, Iran, Georgia, Turchia, Kazakistan e il Turkmenistan affacciantesi sul Mar Caspio e il Mar Nero.

DBA Group, oltre ai moduli Port Community System (PCS) e ai sistemi di Terminal Operations (TOS), ha sviluppato per il Porto di Baku anche una parte della progettazione architettonica del primo edificio per gli uffici operativi, già completati, e per il nuovo Terminal Passeggeri, attualmente in fase di progettazione avanzata. Il terminal passeggeri gestirà tutti i movimenti di merci e persone che arrivano e partono dai porti del Caspio. L'importo totale dei contratti affidati a DBA Group è pari a 2 milioni di euro.

Il nuovo porto di Baku prevede anche una zona di libero scambio (FTZ) e impianti per la trasformazione delle materie prime o di semilavorati. Qui i produttori avranno a disposizione un nodo centrale per una moderna catena di approvvigionamento lungo la Via della Seta del XXI secolo, al servizio del vasto entroterra tra la Cina e l'Europa. Attraverso il Port Community System sarà possibile collegare tutti gli attori della supply chain Eurasiatica attraverso una single window Logistica. Grazie a questa moderna rete, si creeranno servizi ad alto valore aggiunto creando nuovi mercati ai quali la nuova FTZ (prima fase prevista estensione di 100 ettari) metterà a disposizione reti intermodali via rotaia, strada e traghetto a copertura delle rotte commerciali Nord-Sud e Est-Ovest .

Con il completamento della seconda fase di costruzione, l'annuale capacità portuale raggiungerà le 25 milioni di tonnellate e 1 milione di TEU.

DBA GROUP ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF PORT-LINE TO MANAGE LOGISTIC OPERATIONS IN THE NEW PORT OF BAKU.

VILLORBA (Treviso), JANUARY 9th, 2018 – DBA Group S.p.A., the Italian technology consultancy company specialised in network connectivity and lifecycle infrastructure management solutions, announces official start using of port-line to manage logistic operations in new port of Baku.

During the historic ceremony at the New Port of Baku in Alat, the first trucks have been loaded into ship in the new Ro-Ro terminal of the Port of Baku with the participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. The new terminal consisting of two berths will be able to handle 2 million tons of cargo or 60 000 trucks annually. All the operational processes will be managed by Port-Line, the software developed by DBA Group, that in mid-2016 started to develop a port operations software for the new Port of Baku located 70 km south of the capital, near the township of Alat, part of the Greater Baku.

The Port-Line system constitutes the basis for the development of a telematic platform for the integral automation of handling goods transiting the new Port of Baku. It will also enable electronic integration with other stakeholders in the logistics community and transmission of trade and customs documentation of goods carried along the Silk Road between East and West.

In this regard, The Port-Line software complies with the aim of the local government to create a modern e-platform hub to serve the region for countries such as Russia, Iran, Georgia, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan bordering the Caspian and Black Sea for the facilitation of trade flows.

DBA Group is providing Port of Baku not only with the Port Community System (PCS) and two Terminal Operations Systems (TOS), but also as part of the conceptual layout design of the Port of Baku, with the architectural design of the first operating office buildings which is already completed, and the new Passenger Terminal, currently in advanced design phase. The passenger terminal will handle all passengers and rolling ferries arriving and departing from the half-dozen Caspian ports. In total DBA Group has been awarded with a contract in the amount of 2 million euros.

The new Port of Baku will also have a Free Trade Zone (FTZ) and manufacturing industries using raw or semi-finished materials from the region. Here, manufacturers can utilise this location as a critical node to establish a modern supply chain along a 21st Century Silk Road, serving the vast hinterland between China and Europe. Through the establishment of the e-platform, the Port Community System, it will be possible to link with all stakeholders of the Eurasian supply chain via a single Logistics IT window. With such a developed network, it will produce much value-added services creating new markets for which the New FTZ (first phase 100 hectares) will serve, via good intermodal facilities, for rail, road and ferry covering North-South and East West routes.

With the completion of the second phase of construction, the Port's annual throughout capacity will reach 25 million tons, including 1 million TEU's.
