DBA GROUP PORTA IL KNOW HOW ITALIANO IN AZERBAIGIAN PER LA RETE IN FIBRA OTTICA

Una commessa dal Ministero dei Trasporti, delle Telecomunicazioni e High-Technologies per la consulenza sulla realizzazione della banda ultra larga nel Caucaso

Villorba (Treviso) 26 novembre 2018 – DBA Group ha ottenuto una commessa da 300 mila euro dal Ministero dei Trasporti, delle Telecomunicazioni e Hi-Technologies dell'Azerbaigian per la consulenza sulla costruzione della rete in fibra ottica nella capitale Baku da realizzare nel corso del 2019.

Nei primi mesi del 2018 lo stesso Ministero aveva incaricato DBA Group di svolgere un audit sulle procedure e i processi utilizzati per la realizzazione delle reti FTTH (Fibre to The Home) con tecnologia GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network).

A seguito dell'apprezzamento per il lavoro svolto durante l'audit, il Ministero ha deciso di affidare a DBA Group una commessa per servizi di consulenza volti ad identificare aree di miglioramento e intervento nel processo di realizzazione ed aiutare il committente a rendere il sistema azero della banda ultra larga più performante ed efficiente.

Il team di DBA si occuperà anche di revisionare la normativa tecnica applicabile alla progettazione civile delle reti del Paese, oggi risalente agli anni 80-90, e di proporre variazioni e migliorie in linea con gli standard europei. Infine il Ministero ha affidato a DBA Group una attività di consulenza commerciale per identificare le aree più idonee su cui realizzare i collegamenti in fibra ottica e per una migliore pianificazione del processo di copertura.

Il presidente di DBA Group Francesco De Bettin ha dichiarato: «è per noi un onore ricevere questo prestigioso incarico dal Ministero dell'Azerbaigian che ci consentirà di continuare a lavorare nel Paese dove siamo già presenti grazie a commesse nel settore portuale e infrastrutturale. Porteremo il know-how italiano nel Caucaso e, visti i risultati dell'audit, è nostra intenzione proporre al Ministero anche l'adozione di software che consentano di gestire i processi di realizzazione in maniera veloce ed efficiente. E' una conferma della continua crescita del nostro Gruppo, come dimostrano anche i dati al 23 novembre scorso e relativi al valore residuo dei contratti pluriennali in corso in Italia ed all'estero e che ammontano oggi a circa 37 Milioni di Euro. Conforta inoltre la crescita media del Valore della Produzione registrata dalla società rispetto al medesimo periodo dell'esercizio precedente e pari circa al 14% anno su anno, in linea con quanto annunciato in occasione della semestrale di giugno"

Grazie a questa nuova commessa, DBA Group conferma gli ottimi rapporti in essere con l'Azerbaigian, paese in cui è presente fin dal 2014. In particolare l'azienda trevigiana è attiva nel porto di Baku, dove ha già progettato e installato Port-Line, una piattaforma telematica che consente la completa automazione della movimentazione delle merci in transito nello scalo. Sempre per il porto di Baku sono stati progettati sia gli uffici amministrativi della Port Authority sia un Terminal Passeggeri nel nuovo porto di Baku ad Alat.

DBA GROUP TAKES THE ITALIAN KNOW HOW TO AZERBAJAN

An important order from the Ministry of Transport, Telecommunications and High Technologies for the advisory on the construction of the Ultra Broadband in the Caucasus.

Villorba (Treviso), 26th November 2018 – DBA Group has obtained a 300 thousand Euro contract from the Ministry of Transport, Telecommunications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan for advisory services on the construction of the fiber optic network in the capital, Baku, to be implemented in 2019.

In the first few months of 2018, the Azerbaijani Ministry had commissioned DBA Group to carry out an audit of the procedures and processes used to create the FTTH (Fiber to the Home) networks with the GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) technology. Having appreciated the work performed by DBA during the audit, the Azerbaijani Ministry decided to assign DBA Group a contract for consultancy services aimed at identifying areas for improvement and intervention in the construction process and supporting the client to make the Azerbaijani ultra broad band system performing and efficient.

The DBA team will also assess the technical regulations applicable to the civil design of the country's networks, which date back to the 1980s and 1990s, and to propose changes and improvementsto align the Azerbaijani standards to the European standards. The Azerbaijani Ministry has also entrusted DBA Group with a business consultancy activity to identify the most suitable areas for installing fiber optic connections and for better planning the coverage process.

This new order is the result of the excellent relations that DBA Group has developed with Azerbaijan, a country where DBA Group has been present since 2014. In particular, the company from Treviso is active in the port of Baku, where it has already designed and installed Port-Line, a telematic platform that allows complete automation of the movement of goods in transit at the ports.
