DBA GROUP: SIGLATO ACCORDO CON IL MINISTERO DEI TRASPORTI, DELLE TELECOMUNICAZIONI E DELL'ALTA TECNOLOGIA DELLA REPUBBLICA DELL'AZERBAIJAN PER UNA PRIMA ATTIVITÀ DI AUDIT DELLE LOCALI RETI IN FIBRA OTTICA NELL'AMBITO DEL PROGETTO FIBRE TO THE HOME (FTTH)

VILLORBA (Treviso), 28 dicembre 2017 – DBA Group S.p.A., società italiana di consulenza tecnologica, specializzata nella connettività delle reti e nelle soluzioni a supporto del ciclo di vita delle infrastrutture, comunica di aver siglato un accordo con il Ministero dei Trasporti, delle Telecomunicazioni e dell'Alta Tecnologia della Repubblica dell'Azerbaijan per eseguire un'attività di auditing sulle reti in fibra ottica locali.

DBA Group eseguirà sul territorio azero una profonda analisi dei processi di progettazione e di costruzione della rete FTTH secondo le best practices del settore, sfruttando le forti competenze acquisite dal Gruppo in Italia grazie ai servizi di progettazione, Project Management Office (PMO) ed ICT forniti nel corso degli anni a Vodafone e Metroweb ed attualmente a Enel Open Fiber e Italtel nell'ambito del progetto di realizzazione della nuova rete nazionale a Banda Ultra Larga.

Il Ministero controlla la proprietà di BakTelecom (la società incaricata della realizzazione della rete) e pertanto tale primo accordo è strategicamente rilevante in quanto in prospettiva potrà consentire a DBA Group di candidarsi all'esecuzione delle successive fasi di progettazione e PMO della rete di fibra ottica locale FTTH contribuendo con le proprie competenze di Project Management maturate in Italia.

Questo accordo conferma nuovamente il ruolo di protagonista ricoperto da DBA Group nei paesi del Caucaso, ove il Gruppo è fortemente interessato a tutti gli sviluppi evolutivi della Belt and Road Initiative.

"Adesso è confermato, a metà gennaio una squadra di tecnici di DBA GROUP sarà in Azerbaijan per una prima attività di Audit della locale rete di fibra ottica", ha detto Francesco De Bettin, Co-Founder e presidente di DBA Group. "Questo accordo ha per noi una forte valenza strategica e non escludo che a breve riusciremo anche ad offrire il nostro software per la gestione delle infrastrutture di rete "Eagle" a dimostrazione del forte cross-selling esistente tra le nostre 3 business units".

DBA GROUP SIGNS AN AGREEMENT WITH THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT, COMMUNICATIONS AND HIGH TECHNOLOGIES OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN FOR A FIRST AUDIT ACTIVITY ON LOCAL FIBRE OPTIC NETWORKS IN THE FIBRE TO THE HOME (FTTH) PROJECT

VILLORBA (Treviso), December 28th 2017 – DBA Group S.p.A., the Italian technology consultancy company specialised in network connectivity and lifecycle infrastructure management solutions, announces the signature of an agreement with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan to perform an auditing activity on local fibre optic networks.

DBA Group will conduct a thorough analysis of processes and procedures for the design and the construction of the FTTH network in Azerbaijan according to commonly adopted best practices, exploiting the strong competencies already acquired thanks to the services for design, Project Management Office (PMO) and ICT supplied over the years to Vodafone and Metroweb and at present to Enel Open Fibre and Italtel for the realisation of the new Italian Ultra Broad Band network.

The Ministry has full control over the ownership of Baktelecom (the company in charge of the realisation of the network) and therefore this first agreement is strategically relevant since it might in perspective allow DBA Group to offer its services for the subsequent design, realisation and PMO phases of the local FTTH fibre optic network contributing with its Project Management expertise developed in the Italian market.

This agreement confirms again the primary role of DBA Group in the Caspian region, where the Group is always strongly interested in all evolutionary developments of the Belt and Road Initiative.

"Now it is confirmed: mid January a team of technical experts of DBA Group will be in Azerbaijan for a first Audit activity on the local fibre optic network" says Francesco De Bettin, Co-Founder and Chairman of DBA Group.
