Gruppo Campari expresses its deepest condolences for the loss of Mrs. Rosa Anna Magno Garavoglia – controlling person of Davide Campari-Milano S.p.A. (by virtue of the rights of usufruct within Alicros S.p.A., parent company of Campari, and the rights of usufruct on the companies atop the corporate chain of control), Chairperson of Campari between the years 1992 and 1994 and member of the Board of Fondazione Campari, a charitable trust, from 1992 to 2014.

In the difficult years which followed the sudden and premature passing away of her husband, Domenico Garavoglia, she led the Group giving impulse to and constantly supporting its growth and development strategy. Once having relinquished her operational mandates, she continued to follow with care and affection the Group's evolutions and milestones, as well as the life events of the people who have been a part of it, directing particular attention to those in need of help and assistance.

Following the passing away of Rosa Anna Magno Garavoglia, pursuant to the plans laid out by Domenico Garavoglia in the 1980s, their son Luca Garavoglia – Chairman of Campari since 1994 – shall step in, by law, as controlling person of Alicros, in his capacity of bare owner of the shares on which Rosa Anna Magno Garavoglia held usufruct rights.

The Garavoglia Family will continue, without any change, to maintain its role as long-term shareholder of Campari.
