PRESS RELEASE
datrix Embrace the AI challenge
aramix
Aramix – part of Datrix Group company – and KLN Project have signed a three-year strategic partnership aimed at developing next-generation AI solutions for Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management (EPCM), Operations, and Maintenance.
Milan, June 8th, 2026 – Datrix S.p.A. ("Datrix" or the "Company"), a company listed on Euronext Growth Milan (ISIN code IT00054683) and leading the first international AI-powered ecosystem of vertical B2B software companies, announces that Aramix, the Group company specialized in developing artificial intelligence solutions for business and industrial processes, has signed a three-year partnership agreement with KLN Project, a provider of integrated solutions supporting the delivery of large-scale Oil & Gas projects, offering end-to-end coordination from Engineering through Procurement, Logistics, Construction, Installation, Commissioning, and Maintenance.
The agreement is aimed at the creation of the KLN Knowledge Learning Network (KLN²), an advanced research and development center established through the collaboration between KLN Project and Aramix, with the involvement of the Politecnico di Milano – Department of Energy as the scientific partner of the initiative. The objective is to transform KLN Project's industrial processes through a data-driven and AI-enabled approach (https://project.kln.com/polimi/).
A key element of the partnership is the development of technology solutions based on Artificial Intelligence and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to structurally improve the efficiency of EPCm project management and business processes, reduce risks, optimize costs and timelines, and support operational decision-making through faster and more informed insights.
The solution will evolve toward an integrated model in which data, models, and knowledge converge into a single shared workflow, enabling a more efficient and predictive management of the entire project lifecycle.
Within KLN², Aramix will play a pivotal role as a bridge between academic research and industrial application, leading the development of high-impact AI solutions and automated workflows that can be immediately deployed in operational environments.
The partnership also includes the creation of shared technological assets that may be commercially leveraged by both parties under a co-innovation model that integrates technology development and go-to-market activities from the earliest stages.
"This partnership represents a strategic step in our journey to develop high-impact AI solutions for industry. $\mathsf{KLN}^2$ is a concrete demonstration of how the integration of advanced research and operational execution can transform complex processes into intelligent and scalable systems, delivering direct benefits in terms of efficiency, risk control, cost optimization, and faster decision-making" - said Mauro Arte, Co-Founder of Datrix and CEO of Aramix.
"The involvement of the Politecnico di Milano – Department of Energy in the KLN² project represents a virtuous example of technology transfer between academia and industry. The combined application of AI, Digital Twins, and MBSE approaches enables us to address the engineering and logistics challenges of the energy and infrastructure sectors with unprecedented predictive capabilities. Our goal is to transform data complexity into actionable knowledge, creating an ecosystem where research excellence translates into tangible and sustainable operational advantages throughout the EPC lifecycle" - said Enrico Zio, Scientific Director of Datrix and Aramix.
"In a dynamic and complex market such as energy, digitalization and a data-driven approach are essential competitive enablers. This agreement allows us to establish a co-innovation ecosystem that combines extensive field experience, advanced academic research, and the application of the most sophisticated AI technologies, creating the foundation for a predictive, efficient, and sustainable management of the entire project lifecycle" - KLN Project stated in a note.
