Dateline Resources Limited (ASX: DTR) ( Company ) refers to its ASX announcement dated 3 June 2021 titled "Colosseum Project Update" ( Announcement ).

Following discussions with ASX, the Company provides the below noted clarifications in relation to certain aspects of the Announcement:

1. the Company's reference in the Announcement to a "combined" resource of 1.1Moz Au was a reference to the "total" or "aggregate" resource estimated by BP minerals across the known two breccia pipes at the Colosseum Project and was not intended to be a reference to the size or scale of the resource stated by "combining" the various underlying resource categories (i.e. of "inferred", "indicated" or "measured"). It is a historical estimate and is non-JORC Code terminology.

2. while the Company is unable to present specific JORC Code-category mineral resources information (i.e. of "inferred", "indicated" or "measured") in relation to the historical resource estimate in accordance with the JORC Code, it did refer to a historical feasibility study completed by Amselco LLC (a wholly owned subsidiary of BP Minerals) which reported the calculated resource to be extracted over the Life of Mine for informational purposes only (please see page 3 of the Announcement for further detail); and

3. while the Company's intention was to give shareholders a sense of the prospectivity of the Colosseum Project, the Company withdraws the last sentence in the first paragraph on page 3 of the Announcement on the basis that the reporting/re-stating of the historical resource estimate on a per "vertical foot" / per "vertical metre" basis might inadvertently offend the prohibition in Paragraph 26 of the JORC Code against public reporting in terms of contained metals.

Further information in relation to the Colosseum Project will be released to ASX in accordance with the Listing Rules (and in particular, the JORC Code).
