During the December Quarter the Company carried out the following activities:

Finance

As disclosed in our annual report, the Company has been able to continue with operations and execute the Colorado strategy by obtaining loan funds. The tangible assets acquired in Colorado have been independently valued at USD14.4m (AU$20,000,000) excluding any value for the underlying minerals or prospectively thereof.

A transformational capital raising to provide the company with the working capital required to execute the exploration and development of its flagship Gold Links project in Colorado USA was announced on November 30, 2018. The capital raising is not underwritten and closes on January 31, 2019.

Corporate

Mr. Glenn Dovaston was appointed Managing Director and CEO of the Company in November 2018. Glenn is a qualified mining engineer with a Master’s Degree in Mineral Economics and has worked in the resource industry for over 30 years. Much of his time has been working with medium scale gold mining companies. In his last role as Chief Executive of Millennium Minerals Limited, he lead the change which resulted in Millennium transitioning from a high cost, high debt company with a market cap of only $5.8M to a profitable, debt free company with a market cap of $217M in just over two years.

Gold Links Project

  1. Completed an underground sampling program – results were announced on November 27, 2018.

  2. Completed a LiDAR survey of the Gold Links project.

    • LiDAR is a relatively new laser mapping technology that stands for Light Detection And Ranging . A LiDAR survey in conjunction with aero-photography is the most efficient way to obtain detailed maps of topography and surface geologic features. Processing of the data creates a ‘bare earth model’, which removes the overlying vegetation and creates an extremely detailed Digital Elevation Mode (DEM) of the surface.

DEM is unmatched in revealing geologic (veins, faults, contacts) and cultural features (mines, trenches, prospect pits, new and old roads and trails) that would otherwise be obscured by vegetation when using conventional aero photography alone. It provides an invaluable base map for geologic mapping and often shows veins, faults and lithologic contacts. It facilitates precise and much faster geologic mapping of these features and very frequently locates previously unknown prospect pits and mines that are obscured by dense vegetation.

The data was also used to create very detailed topographic maps with 1 ft contour intervals over the project.

The LiDAR data revealed about 4,000 surface working made up of shafts, adits, prospect pits and trenches, most of which did not appear on any historic maps. These workings indicate a potential wide area of mineralization and many can be used to identify the locations of veins and surface expressions of underground mineralized areas. In some areas veins and lithologic contacts can be inferred but require validation in the field season. The data will also be used to design a regional exploration program and for mine and construction planning.

The Company is reviewing the preliminary results of the metallurgical test work that is underway and will make an announcement once the review is complete
