About the Lone Wolf Project:
The Board of Conto Resources Limited (ASX: CNO) (Conto or the Company) is pleased to announce the commencement of field based exploration work at its Lone Wolf Project in Leonora, Western Australia. The Lone Wolf Project is located approximately 15km northeast of

Leonora within the North-Eastern Goldfields Region of Western Australia. The project consists of two granted prospecting licences, covering a total area of approximately 3.2km[2] .
The project lies within the Keith-Kilkenny Tectonic Zone. To the north east and east of Leonora, the zone is approximately 20km wide and bounded by the Mt George Shear Zone to the west and the Keith-Kilkenny Lineament and Pig Well Graben to the east. The project is underlain by a sequence of strongly deformed mafic lithologies and arenite sequences.
The initial field based reconnaissance program aims to assist with understanding the controls and extents of gold mineralisation at Lone Wolf. In addition to the ground based reconnaissance program, Conto is currently conducting a regional exploration targeting program to identify additional resource opportunities.
The Company will undertake a Mobile Metal Ion (MMI) geochemistry survey at Lone Wolf. MMI is a highly sensitive and robust geochemical exploration method whereby Mobile Metal Ions are absorbed onto the surface of screened soil particles and are dissolved using patented chemical leaches. MMI Geochemistry is more sensitive than conventional geochemical methods and is well suited to the exploration environment found at Lone Wolf.
The geochemical sampling is expected to highlight a number of priority targets and geochemical trends which will be explored by more detailed analysis prior to any drilling assessment. Conto aims to identify areas that are geochemically anomalous in the target commodities – gold and base metals.
Additionally, detailed geological mapping will be conducted across the project area. The aim of the geological mapping in conjunction with MMI geochemistry is to further understand the extent and controls on mineralisation within the project area.
Technical Background:
The MMI Geochemical survey will involve the collection of 58 geochemical samples on a 200x100m regular grid across the Lone Wolf eastern tenement, P37/8114.
Geochemical samples will be submitted to SGS Laboratories in Perth, and analysed for a multiple commodity exploration package comprising of 45 elements. The MMI package represents the preferred digest package for geochemical exploration.

Technical information in this report has been prepared under the supervision of Mr Jonathan King, a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientist (AIG). Mr King has sufficient experience which is relevant to the styles of mineralisation under consideration and to the activity which he is undertaking to qualify as a Competent Person as defined in the 2004 Edition of the “Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves” (the JORC Code). Mr King consents to the inclusion in this report of the Information, in the form and context in which it appears.
