ANNOUNCEMENT RESIGNATION OF DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER

The board of directors (the “ Board ”) of Datang Environment Industry Group Co., Ltd.* (the “ Company ”) announces that, Mr. Hu Xiaodong (“ Mr. Hu ”) has resigned as a deputy general manager of the Company (the “ Deputy General Manager ”) with effect from 11 September 2017, due to personal work adjustment.

Mr. Hu served as the Deputy General Manager from 1 February 2012 to 10 September 2017. Mr. Hu has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no other matter relating to his resignation as the Deputy General Manager that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company or The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to express its sincere gratitude to Mr. Hu for his valuable contribution to the Company during his tenure as the Deputy General Manager.
