CHANGE OF DATE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND PERIOD FOR CLOSURE OF REGISTER OF MEMBERS

References are made to (i) the notice of the 2018 annual general meeting (the “ AGM ”) dated 10 May 2019 and circular of the AGM dated 6 June 2019; and (ii) the supplemental notice of the AGM and the supplemental circular of the AGM dated 13 June 2019 of Datang Environment Industry Group Co., Ltd. (the “ Company ”).

The AGM was originally scheduled to be convened at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, 28 June 2019 at No. 120 Zizhuyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing, the People’s Republic of China (the “ PRC ”), for the purpose of considering and, if thought fit, passing the relevant resolutions. In order to ascertain the entitlements of the shareholders of the Company (the “ Shareholders ”) to attend the AGM, the register of members of the Company would be closed from Wednesday, 29 May 2019 to Friday, 28 June 2019 (both days inclusive).

The Company hereby announces that, due to the reason of logistical arrangement, the date and time of the AGM originally scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, 28 June 2019 have been changed to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, 27 June 2019. Accordingly, the closure of register of members for the purposes of ascertaining the entitlements of the Shareholders to attend the AGM has been changed to from Wednesday, 29 May 2019 to Thursday, 27 June 2019 (both days inclusive). Shareholders whose names appear on the register of members of the Company on Thursday, 27 June 2019 are entitled to attend and vote at the AGM.

The content of the resolutions to be proposed at the AGM and the venue for holding the AGM remain unchanged. For the relevant specific information, please refer to the circular of the AGM dated 6 June 2019 and the supplemental circular of the AGM dated 13 June 2019.

The board of directors of the Company hereby apologizes to the Shareholders for any inconvenience arising from change of date of the AGM.

As of the date of this announcement, the non-executive directors of the Company are Mr. Jin Yaohua, Mr. Liu Chuandong, Mr. Liu Guangming, Mr. Li Yi and Mr. Deng Xiandong; the executive director of the Company is Mr. Shen Zhen; and the independent non-executive directors of the Company are Mr. Ye Xiang, Mr. Mao Zhuanjian and Mr. Gao Jiaxiang.
