Intelliseed Trials to Commence in China
The Directors of DataDot Technology Limited (ASX:DDT) are pleased to announce that wholly-owned subsidiary AgTechnix Pty Limited has entered into a commercial agreement with a global seed company to conduct an exclusive eight month commercial and technical trial of “Intelliseed” in China.
“Intelliseed” is the patented AgTechnix technology that identifies the provenance of bulk seeds and grain, so enabling detection of substituted and counterfeit agricultural products and providing a control mechanism for internal or cross border, end-to-end supply chain management.
The purpose of the trial is to evaluate in the Chinese market the technical feasibility of developing and marketing seed treatment formulations containing Intelliseed.
The Agreement further provides that during the eight month term the global seed company may initiate negotiations with AgTechnix to secure exclusive rights to Intelliseed in agricultural applications in China and other countries.
