Expiry of Voluntary Escrow DataDot Technology (Asia) Pte Limited

Pursuant to Listing Rule 3.10A, the Directors of DataDot Technology Limited (ASX:DDT) advise that the 23,658,537 ordinary shares issued to Mr Collin Hwang on 15[th] December 2010 will be released from voluntary escrow on 21[st] June 2011.

This announcement coincides with the completion of all administrative steps and approvals necessary for formal establishment of DataDot Technology (Asia) Pte Limited (“DDT Asia”) in Taiwan as agreed with our partner Mr Hwang last year. DDT Asia is the joint venture company owned equally by DDT and Mr Hwang’s company, DataDot Technology Taiwan Pte Limited. DDT also has a majority on the DDT Asia Board. DDT Asia holds distribution rights in China for both DDT and DataTraceDNA products and has been working during the course of this year developing business leads and opportunities in China.

DDT Asia has established an office in Shanghai where a sales manager and three sales support staff are engaged in pursuing a diverse range of identified business opportunities in product authentication and asset marking.
