Brief explanation of any of the figures reported above necessary to enable the figures to be
understood:
Total revenue increased 17% from $5,676,144 to $6,613,627. Sales revenue for the half-year was
$5,779,769 (2006: $4,904,605) representing an increase of 18% which was driven by strong
revenue growth from the South African market segment and to a lesser extent Australian segment.
Consolidated net loss for the Group improved by 86% due to:

Focus on cost containment

Improved contribution by Australasia market segment delivered as a result of increased sales
revenue and improved gross profit margins as a result of production improvements;

Strong revenue growth is South African market segment and similar improvement to that of the
Australasian market segment with respect to improvement in gross product margins arising from
production improvements.

Restructure of US Operations during the period;

The half-yearly report is to be read in conjunction with the most recent annual financial report.
