Renewal and Extension of Subaru Australia Supply Contract

The Directors of DataDot Technology Limited (ASX:DDT) are pleased to announce renewal of the company’s supply contract with Subaru (Aust) Pty Limited.

The term of the supply contract has also been extended from one to three years.

Under the agreement DDT will supply its Theft Deterrent System comprising 7,000 DataDotDNA microdots, DataDot anti-theft protection stickers and other components to more than 40,000 Subaru cars sold annually in Australia. Each DataDotDNA microdot is encoded with distinct Subaru branding and the unique VIN number of the car to which it is applied.

Additional major features of the supply contract include:

• A DataDot theft deterrent warranty under which Subaru owners will be reimbursed comprehensive insurance theft excess, to a maximum of $800, in the event their Subaru is stolen and unrecovered in the three years following purchase subject to specified conditions;

• A new parts-marking initiative to detect parallel imports and non-approved parts and protect Subaru from false warranty claims;

• Discount pricing on DDT home and business packs for Subaru owners; and

• Joint DataDot – Subaru participation in promotional activities.
