- Capital Raising Share Purchase Plan

The Directors of DataDot Technology Limited (ASX:DDT) announce that the company is launching a Share Purchase Plan (“Plan”) underwritten to $3 million with the ability to accept oversubscriptions of up to $1.5 million at the Company’s discretion.

Under the Plan, the company will offer to Eligible Members, irrespective of the size of their shareholding, the opportunity to subscribe for up to $15,000 worth of fully paid ordinary shares in DataDot Technology at $0.041 per share. This is the same price at which the company’s shares are to be issued to the CSIRO as consideration for acquiring its interest in DataTraceDNA Pty Limited, as announced on 14 October 2010.

No brokerage, commission, stamp duty or other transaction costs will be payable by eligible members in respect of the application and issue of shares.

Eligible Members are those who:

• are recorded in the company’s register of members at 5.00 p.m. on Monday 8 November 2010; and

• have an address, as recorded in the register of members, in Australia or New Zealand.

The Plan is underwritten by KTM Capital for up to $3 million, but the company may accept additional amounts up to $1.5 million to raise a maximum of $4.5 million. The offering may be scaled back under certain circumstances specified in the letter of offer.

The offer will open on Monday 15[th] November 2010 and close on Friday 3[rd] December 2010.

Full details of the terms of the offer and an application form will be sent in writing to all members. The terms of the offer will also be lodged as an announcement with the ASX.
