Bruce Rathie, Chairman to Retire at AGM

DataDot Technology Limited (ASX: DDT) advises that Mr Bruce Rathie has indicated to the Board that he does not propose to seek re-election as a non-executive director at the Company’s upcoming AGM. As a consequence of the three-year retirement rule in the Company’s constitution and under the Listing Rules, Mr Rathie will formally leave the Board at the close of the AGM.
The Board proposes to appoint Mr Gary Flowers as Chairman, with effect from the date of Mr Rathie’s retirement, and will consider the appointment of additional Directors to the Board. If no appointment has been made by the AGM, the Board anticipates that it will appoint Mr Temogen Hield, the Company’s CEO, as Managing Director following the AGM.
Mr Rathie said, “The new management team headed by Temogen has now been bedded down, and implemented strategies that I am confident will lead to improved financial performance. It is time to pass the baton to others on the Board to drive performance of the business.”
Mr Flowers said “We are grateful to Bruce for his many years of service to the Company, and for the energy and effort he has given to the business. The Board looks forward to continuing to work with Temogen and his management team. We recognize that shareholders have been very patient and the Board and management are committed to driving improved performance over the coming years.”
