Appointment of Director

Mr Bruce Rathie, the Chairman of DataDot Technology Limited (ASX:DDT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Stephe Wilks as a Non Executive Director of DataDot Technology Limited with effect from 26 February 2016.

Mr Rathie said “Stephe has over 25 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry both within Australia and overseas. He has been Regional Director (Asia & Japan) – Regulatory Affairs for BT Asia Pacific, Managing Director of XYZed Pty Ltd (an Optus company) as well as Chief Operating Officer of Nextgen Networks and Personal Broadband Australia. Stephe has experience across a range of commercial and operations disciplines, governance and corporate finance and M&A.

Stephe is the Chair of one of Australia’s leading IT companies, Interactive, a NonExecutive Director of 3Q Holdings and Aggregato and is an Advisory Board Member of the Network Insight Institute.

Stephe is also involved with a number of private equity backed businesses in the media and technology industries.

His experience in the telecommunications/media/digital/internet space will be invaluable to DataDot as it explores ways in which to monetise its digital/register and other assets. Further, the Company is developing BlueTooth/mobile/telco based products where Stephe will be able to add material value. We are very pleased he will be joining our Board as we seek to aggressively grow our business globally.”
