According to a preliminary analysis, the earnings of DATA MODUL AG declined in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2025, compared to the results achieved in the same period of the previous year. The reasons for this are the ongoing overall strained market situation, continued fierce competition from Asia, and significant currency losses.
The group EBIT in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2025 was EUR -0.4 million, marking a reduction of approx. 126.7% in comparison to the same period of the previous year (EUR 1.5 million). However, group sales increased by approx. 5.5% to EUR 53.8 million in the second quarter of 2025 in comparison to EUR 51.0 million in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024. Bookings also increased by approx. 3.4% to EUR 51.5 million in comparison to EUR 49.8 million for the same period of the previous year.
The Company will publish the definitive results for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2025 on August 8 th 2025.
