Prominent UK Investor Jim Mellon Invests in Dart Mining

Dart Mining NL (ASX: DTM) is pleased to announce an equity investment in the company, via private placement, from prominent UK based investor Mr Jim Mellon.

Mr Mellon is a well-known, highly successful, investor and entrepreneur and has a long track record of investing in Resources, Emerging Markets, Property, Biopharma, and Juvenescence.

Mr Mellon made an investment in Dart Mining of $500,000 to acquire 71,428,571 shares in the Company.

Mr Mellon holds a strong view that Lithium demand over time, will exceed current forecasts, for use in batteries, for applications including electric vehicles and stationary grid storage.

Mr Mellon is seeking to invest in early stage Lithium exploration projects and holds investments in other Lithium exploration companies with projects in Australia, the United States and Mexico.

Proceeds from the raising will help fund and further accelerate exploration activities at Dart’s Dorchap Lithium project in North East Victoria.

ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

Notice in Respect of Share Issue

Dart Mining NL (“Dart”) has issued 71,428,571 fully paid ordinary shares pursuant to the Share Placement for consideration of $500,000.

In accordance with the requirements of section 708A(6) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cwlth) (“Corporations Act”), Dart notifies ASX Limited that:

• (a) The Shares were issued without disclosure to investors under Part 6D.2 of the Corporations Act;

• (b) The notice is being given under section 708A(5)(e) of the Corporations Act;

As at the date of this notice Dart has complied with:

• (a) The provisions of Chapter 2M of the Corporations Act as they apply to the Dart; and

• (b) Section 674 of the Corporations Act; and

As at the date of this notice, there is no information that is “excluded information” (within the meaning of sections 708A(7) and 708A(8) of the Corporations Act which is required to be disclosed by Dart.
