TRADING HALT

The securities of Dart Mining NL (the “Company”) will be placed in pre-open at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in pre-open until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Thursday, 24 June 2010 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt

Dart Mining NL (“Dart Mining”) (ASX: DTM) requests that an immediate trading halt be granted by the Australian Securities Exchange (“ASX”) with respect to its ordinary shares.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, Dart Mining advises that:

• Dart Mining seeks the trading halt pending an announcement to be made to the market regarding a capital raising by way of a share placement;

• Dart Mining requests the trading halt end on either the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Thursday, 24 June 2010 or when the anticipated announcement referred to above is released to the market;

• Dart Mining is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
