Dear Gonzalo,

Dart Mining NL (ASX: DTM) - Request for Voluntary Suspension

We refer to our letter dated 1 October 2009 requesting a trading halt pending the release of a market announcement by DTM in relation to a capital raising by way of a share placement.

Dart Mining NL (“Dart Mining”) (ASX: DTM) requests that an immediate suspension be granted by the Australian Securities Exchange (“ASX”) with respect to its listed securities.

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.2, Dart Mining advises that:

• Dart Mining seeks the suspension pending an announcement to be made to the market regarding a capital raising by way of a share placement;

• Dart Mining requests the suspension end on either the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 7 October 2009 or when the anticipated announcement referred to above is released to the market;

• Dart Mining is not aware of any reason why the suspension should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the suspension.
