Following the demonstrated project metallurgical achievements at the Unicorn Project, and with the pace and scope of Pre-Feasibility Studies (PFS) substantially increasing, Dart Mining has moved to appoint Dr. Colin Seaborn as Manager Unicorn PFS Project.
Colin Seaborn has been instrumental in delivering experience and expertise to address the complicated Unicorn mineralogy and achieve, through application of conventional technologies, extraction of marketable concentrates of molybdenum and copper. He will continue to lead the ongoing metallurgical testwork and development of a draft process flowsheet which embraces recoveries from all mineralised zones within Unicorn.
Colin takes over the Project management role from John Eltham who has retired.

Colin spent almost 20 years with CRA –now Rio Tinto working at Broken Hill, Kembla Coal and Coke, Comalco Aluminium and Coal and Allied subsidiaries in various metallurgical and management roles.

Colin provides processing ideas and manages metallurgical testing for mineral exploration programs, carries out business analysis to determine best financial options for processing particular mineral deposits and manufacturing processes.
He identifies process and business improvement opportunities, particularly for mineral and manufacturing processes; provides organisational reviews to align structure and processes with strategic directions.
Other roles have included Business Analyst with CRA head office reviewing major project proposals and Metallurgical Consultant/Client Project Representative for the Pre-Feasibility study of the Omitiomire copper project in Namibia. He was a director of Zamia Metals owner of the Anthony molybdenum project.
