Welcome to the 5[th] Annual General Meeting of Dart Mining. Since listing on the ASX in mid 2007, there has been unprecedented turmoil in financial markets from the onset of the global financial crisis extending into the current market uncertainty and volatility. Despite the difficulties we have faced in funding the company’s exploration program the last four years have been ones of extraordinary achievement for Dart.

Last week’s announcement of a JORC Indicated and Inferred Resource at our Unicorn project was a very significant milestone from which Dart can start to assess the viability of establishing a mining operation at Unicorn. Whilst there is much work to be done and it will take a few more years to get to a point of confirming a development at Unicorn we are confident that this discovery will make a significant contribution to the economy of NE Victoria.

The last year has also seen change in our management team as the Company acted to strengthen the leadership in anticipation of the significant demands of advancing the Unicorn Project. In May Lindsay Ward was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Lindsay has a background in mining and logistics and is ideally experienced to guide Dart through the next important stage of the Company’s growth.

These achievements have finally been recognised by financial markets with a solid improvement in the Dart share price to a recent high of 18.5 cents and a Volume Weighted Average Price over the last 2 months of 14 cents. The share price has held up well through the market volatility over recent weeks and as a result we are now seeing some option holders exercising the ASX listed 10 cent options. These options expire at the end of this year so I would encourage holders to take advantage of the fact that the options are “in the money” to exercise these options soon rather than leave it to the last minute.

Before I invite Dart’s Managing Director to update you on exploration achievements of the last year I would like to thank all shareholders for your support and look forward to it continuing as Dart progresses Unicorn through the next stages of exploration and evaluation.

The Company’s CEO, Mr Lindsay Ward will provide an investor briefing which has previously been released to ASX on 11 October 2011.
