• When added to steel, molybdenum enhances strength, hardenability, weldability, toughness, elevated temperature strength, and corrosion resistance. In nickel-base alloys, it improves resistance to both corrosion and high-temperature creep deformation.

• World demand is approx 200,000 tonnes per year

• • About 47% of supply comes as a by-product primarily from copper mines

• Primary Molybdenum porphyries are relatively rare but economically significant

• Molybdenum price of $37,000 per tonne is 4.5 X the value of copper

• Typically primary molybdenum only deposits can be mined from about 0.06% in open cut and from 0.12% underground, many operate at significantly above resource grade

• Copper provides an important by-product for many of the mines, however, the big three in the USA – Henderson, Climax and Thompson Creek have no meaningful copper

• Unicorn has an important copper and silver component that will add to ultimate value

• Initial results from the first three deep drillholes into Unicorn’s porphyry stockworks zone have extensive molybdenum and copper mineralisation giving Dart encouragement that Unicorn is a significant discovery

A NEW METALLOGENIC PROVINCE

• Dart has identified a new metallogenic province in NE Victoria with potential for very large molybdenum-copper-silver porphyries, at both its Unicorn and Morgan projects

• The Unicorn porphyry is a mineralised system unique in Australia, with similarities to the Climax mine (USA) one of the world’s largest primary molybdenum deposits.

• Early indications of grade are comparable or better than any other Australasian Mo discovery

• Early regional work shows additional systems (e.g. Morgan, Bunroy, Boebuck) are likely within the Dart tenements
