• The Dart Exploration area has been focus of preliminary drilling campaigns so far with activity in the western side at Mountain View and in the north at Mt Elliot lode. I shall address each of these projects in more detail shortly.

• The area of the Dart and Buckland EL’s have recently been reduced by partial relinquishment under the Victorian DPI requirements

•Dart recently applied for two new ELA’s to the north-west of the Dart licence to pick up trending mineralisation that has been identified using the Polygonal Vortex predictive model about which I will say more shortly.

• Work, including drilling, to commence on the Fairleys prospect area early in the new year

EXPLORATION PROGRAMME

  • Exploration budget 2007-2008 = $1,336,000

  • Exploration budget 2008-2009 = $1,757,000

  • Current drilling programme on schedule and on budget

  • Dart’s Polygon Vortex Model proven appropriate and fit for purpose

  • Further analysis and testing required on all targets

  • An extension to the Dart exploration licence area applied for to cover additional mineralisation trends identified by the predictive Polygon Vortex Model

EXPLORATION PROGRAMME

  • Exploration budget 2007-2008 = $1,336,00

  • Exploration budget 2008 -2009 = $1,757,000

  • Current drilling programme on schedule and budget, despite several weeks delay awaiting delivery of drill rigs (big shortage of rigs in the industry at the moment- several being brought out from Kazakhstan and India to try and meet the shortage);

  • the Polygonal Vortex Model that the Company uses to focus exploration for Intrusive Related Gold mineralisation: this has proven to be the most appropriate, fit-for-purpose analysis tool for these areas and the results have followed accordingly;

  • An extension to the Dart exploration lease area has been applied for to cover additional mineralisation trends identified by the predictive Polygon Vortex Model.

  • In short, what we thought was there is, it’s looking very good but we will need further analysis and testing before making definitive statements.

MT ELLIOT PROSPECT

==> picture [173 x 223] intentionally omitted <==

  • Limited historical testing

  • Only rock chip and soil sampling conducted

  • No previous drilling conducted

  • Sampling from mined surface pits

  • Historic shoots have now been 3D modelled

  • Bedrock geochemistry drilling now undertaken

  • 7 holes, 240m of drilling, complete

  • Assay results expected in 4-6 weeks

MT ELLIOT PROSPECT

  • This area had only been rock chip and soil sampled previously by others, no drilling has been done.

  • Previous sampling was only from mined surface pits, as such it is very difficult to determine the best zones - very little historical geological information was available;

  • The historic shoots have been modelled in 3D, now it’s just a matter of identifying how far the economic areas extend and that will then determine the deep drilling programme’

  • Bedrock Geochemistry drilling now undertaken ;

  • Drilled 7 holes, some 240m drilling completed- the rig has limited depth capacity and was only suitable for testing the shallow and unmined zones of the lodes between historical shoots;

  • Should have assay results in 4-6 weeks; assay results are taking longer at the moment in this resources boom climate because the ALS labs in Orange are flat out, clients such as Newcrest and others in the region all competing for space;

MOUNTAIN VIEW

==> picture [167 x 222] intentionally omitted <==

  • 40 holes, 563m, drilled to date in 3 drilling programs with drilling ongoing

  • No historic drilling reported of the Western Anomaly

  • Significant quartz and high sulphide zone intersected in MVD 038 hole before ceased at 39m due to collar instability

  • Duplication of this hole and drilling of a series of deeper holes currently underway

  • Deeper holes designed to target the mineralisation already discovered in MVD 038

MOUNTAIN VIEW

  • In current program we have drilled 11 holes, 320 metres so far with drilling ongoing;

  • Historically, there’s been no reported drilling into the Western Anomaly;

  • MVD 038 intersected a significant zone of quartz and high sulphide, which is promising, but conclusive details can only be determined by additional drilling and assays;

  • We actually had to stop drilling the MVD 038 hole at 39m within mineralisation due to the collar of the hole becoming unstable- we were getting in fill which was causing dilution of the samples;

  • The duplication of this hole and a series of deeper holes are currently underway along this target.

  • These deeper holes are designed to target the mineralisation already discovered in hole MVD038 along what indicators are showing as a potentially parallel mineralised lens beneath the gold soil anomaly and outcropping quartz stockwork zone- all strong indicators of gold mineralisation but we will await the deep drilling to know more.

BUCKLAND EL – FAIRLEY’S PROSPECT

  • Expansion of the soil geochemistry grid (20m x 10m) has commenced

  • Currently working to establish a drill access track into the area

  • Several prospects tested under detailed soil grids and rock chip sampling programmes to date

  • Promising results from testing of historic mineralisation systems

==> picture [229 x 169] intentionally omitted <==

  • Identified mineralised systems are extensive and warrant significant drill testing

  • Detailed drill program and Work Plan to be submitted to DPI

BUCKLAND EL- FAIRLEY’S PROSPECT

  • The expansion of the soil geochemistry sampling grid (20m x 10m) has been commenced at Fairley’s Prospect and will continue, we’re now awaiting assay data;

  • Currently engaging earth moving contractors to establish a drill access track into the area so that we can get the rig in and drilling can commence in February

  • So far, several prospects have been tested under detailed soil grids and rock chip sampling programs;

  • Results are promising- they’re consistently showing the mineralisation identified in the historical reports as being large or of a stockwork nature- occur on a significant mineralisation trend and exhibit broad surface gold anomalies;

  • More detailed soil grids show the mineralised systems are extensive and warrant significant drill testing, which is why we want to get the access track established as quickly as possible

  • These prospects will help us to design a drill program and a Work Plan which will be submitted for approval by the DPI (during January 2008)

PORPHYRY TARGETS

==> picture [189 x 191] intentionally omitted <==

  • Regional water geochemistry sampling used to assess targets

  • Sampling has continued to build data for the Polygon Vortex Model

  • Anomalous drainages identified within all exploration licences

  • Confirmed mineralised environment around the Empress and Zulu Corridor intersection zones

  • These areas previously identified as having high prospectivity for precious-base metal reduced intrusive related gold mineralisation systems

PORPHYRY TARGETS

  • Regional water geochemistry sampling has been used to assess porphyry targets;

  • This sampling has continued to build up data for the Polygonal Vortex Model that the Company uses to focus exploration for Intrusive Related Gold mineralisation- so by sampling the geochemistry of the water, it will tell us what’s going on down the fault line below and show indicators of gold mineralisation which, early results suggest, are promising;

  • The system is shown here in this cross-sectional figure - this area is a series of large faults intersecting each other and we’re analysing the water out of these fault line fractures to determine what’s there and that analysis will help locate buried mineralisation.

  • As you may be aware, deep faults and fracture systems associated with the such intrusions allow ground water to reach the surface via springs and creeks carrying trace amounts of indicative metals;

  • The very sensitive analysis method used by the Company is able to detect these metals and will focus exploration as sample density increases. Some 380 samples have been collected and analysed to date with the companies PVD6000 unit.

  • The good news is this program has uncovered anomalous drainages within all of the exploration licences, including highly anomalous drainages about the Unicorn Porphyry within the Dart EL, and some gold reef trends in the Buckland EL.

  • The program has also both confirmed and highlighted the mineralized environment around the Empress and Zulu Corridor intersection zone, an area which also hosts the Mt Unicorn and Mt Morgan porphyry prospects within the Dart EL (shown on the Prospect Locations map). The Polygonal Vortex model had already identified these areas as having high prospectivity for precious-base metal porphyry mineralisation.
