E' stata conclusa oggi dal Gruppo Danieli - Divisione Steelmaking - l'acquisizione della società ESW Röhrenwerke GmbH ("ESW"), con sede in Eschweiler (Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia, Germania), operante nel settore della produzione di tubi ad uso industriale.
Dallo scorso febbraio 2016 ESW si trovava in procedura di insolvenza, il cui piano ufficialmente depositato nel luglio 2016 - è stato approvato a settembre 2016 da tutti i Gruppi creditori, ottenendo pure la conferma da parte del Giudice sull'acquisto di ESW da parte di Acciaierie Bertoli Safau SpA ("ABS"): la Corte di Aachen ha ufficialmente decretato l'uscita di ESW dall'insolvenza e consentito ad ABS di procedere all'acquisizione, in data odierna, del 100% delle azioni di ESW per l'importo di Euro 25.000,00 (Capitale Sociale minimo in Germania).
ESW conta circa 200 dipendenti e, con un fatturato a regime di circa 50 Milioni di Euro, si integrerà in modo efficiente nei processi di verticalizzazione e diversificazione dei prodotti ABS.

The Danieli Group – Steelmaking Division – today completed the acquisition of ESW Röhrenwerke GmbH ("ESW"), located in Eschweiler (North Rhine - Westphalia, Germany), a company operating in the production of tubes for industrial uses.
Since February 2016 ESW was involved in insolvency proceedings, and its insolvency plan – officially filed in July 2016 – was approved in September 2016 by all the Group's creditors, while also obtaining a Judge's confirmation for the purchase of ESW by Acciaierie Bertoli Safau SpA ("ABS"): the Court of Aachen officially decreed that ESW is no longer insolvent and allowed ABS to proceed today with the purchase of 100% of ESW's shares amounting to Euro 25,000.00 (minimum share capital in Germany).
ESW employs approximately 200 people, with sales of around 50 million euro, and will be able to efficiently become part of the vertical integration and diversification of ABS's products.
