COMUNICATO STAMPA

Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche S.p.A. ("Danieli") esprime soddisfazione per la sentenza di assoluzione con formula piena emessa dal Tribunale di Udine con riferimento alla contestata ipotesi di frode fiscale.

Nel contempo, manifesta viva sorpresa quanto alla condanna pronunciata relativamente alla contestata ipotesi di esterovestizione, posto che su tale vicenda si erano già espressi in senso favorevole alla società, il GIP presso il Tribunale di Udine, due Commissioni Tributarie Provinciali, con due sentenze favorevoli alla Società, e, da ultimo, la stessa Agenzia delle Entrate che, in autotutela, aveva annullato tutte le contestazioni.

Danieli ritiene doveroso precisare come tale sentenza, che, dunque, riguarda esclusivamente fattispecie di matrice fiscale, non è esecutiva e non implica alcuna conseguenza negativa per la finanza della Società.

L'Ing. Benedetti e il Dott. Brussi hanno già preannunciato, tramite i propri legali, l'intenzione di proporre appello non appena saranno rese note le motivazioni.

Danieli, confermando piena fiducia nell'operato dei propri Amministratori, precisa che detta sentenza non avrà conseguenza alcuna rispetto alla governance del Gruppo e alle proprie strategie finanziarie ed industriali.

PRESS RELEASE

Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche S.p.A. ("Danieli") welcomes, and is satisfied with, the decision of full acquittal issued by the Court of Udine with reference to the disputed allegation of tax fraud.

At the same time, Danieli is deeply surprised by the conviction regarding the disputed allegations of tax inversion, given that on this matter the Judge for Preliminary Investigation ("GIP"), as well as two Provincial Tax Tribunals ("Commissioni Tributarie Provinciali) had already rendered judgments in favor of the company; and, lastly, even the same Revenue Agency (acting in self-defense) had canceled all the relevant complaints.

Danieli deems it necessary to clarify how this ruling, which, therefore, only concerns issues fiscal in nature, is not enforceable and does not imply any negative consequences for the Company's finances.

Mr. Benedetti and Mr. Brussi have already announced, through their attorneys, their intention to appeal as soon as the reasons for the judgment are rendered public by the Court.

Danieli, confirming full confidence in the work of its Directors, states that this ruling will not have any consequence on the Group's governance and on its financial and industrial strategies.
