COMUNICATO STAMPA
LE ATTIVITÀ DEL GRUPPO DANIELI NON CONTEMPLANO IN ALCUN MODO LA PRODUZIONE DI MATERIALE BELLICO
Il Gruppo Danieli è tra i maggiori produttori a livello mondiale di macchine e impianti per l'industria metallurgica. La gamma di prodotti del Gruppo comprende macchine, impianti e processi per tutti i cicli produttivi dell'acciaio e dei metalli non ferrosi, dal trattamento dei minerali e del rottame fino ai prodotti finiti piani e lunghi. La attività del Gruppo non contemplano in alcuno modo la produzione diretta di materiale bellico e i contratti stipulati non prevedono mai il coinvolgimento nelle scelte di produzione dei Clienti.
Il Gruppo Danieli ha messo in atto tutte le misure necessarie a conformare le proprie attività ai provvedimenti adottati dall'Italia e dall'Unione Europea, a seguito dei tragici avvenimenti legati alla Guerra in corso in Ucraina. Tali misure sono state applicate senza indugio a persone, entità e società oggetto delle sanzioni.
La Società è inoltre impegnata sul fronte dell'emergenza umanitaria e sta fornendo un aiuto concreto alla popolazione coinvolta nella Guerra in Ucraina. Le famiglie dei dipendenti impiegati presso l'ufficio tecnico del Gruppo Danieli a Dnipro (attualmente chiuso) sono stati portati al sicuro: la Società ha organizzato trasporto e accoglienza per circa 100 persone presso il Campus Danieli in Friuli Venezia-Giulia.
Danieli si tutelerà nelle sedi competenti contro notizie lesive della propria immagine e reputazione.

THE DANIELI GROUP'S BUSINESS DOES NOT IN ANY WAY INCLUDE THE MANUFACTURE OF WAR MATERIAL
The Danieli Group is one of the major manufacturers in the world of machines and plants for the metallurgical industry. The Group's range of products includes machines, plants and processes for all the production cycles of steel and non-ferrous metals, from the processing of ore and scrap to both long and flat finished products. The Group's business is not in any way directly involved in the manufacture of war material, and the contracts that are concluded never stipulate our involvement in the Customer's production choices.
The Danieli Group has taken all the necessary measures to ensure that its business is in compliance with the measures adopted by Italy and the European Union deriving from the tragic events of the war that is currently under way in Ukraine. These measures were promptly applied to people, entities and companies that were hit with sanctions.
Furthermore, the Company has also made a commitment in terms of the humanitarian emergency in Ukraine and is providing concrete assistance to the population affected by the war. The families of our employees from the Danieli Group's engineering office in Dnipro (which is currently closed) were brought to safety: the Company arranged for the transportation to Italy and the accommodation of about 100 people at the Danieli Campus in Friuli Venezia-Giulia.
Danieli will take all the necessary legal action to defend itself against news that is damaging to its image and reputation.
