d'AMICO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING S.A. ANNOUNCES THE CONCLUSION OF A NEW 2-YEAR TIME CHARTER CONTRACT AT A VERY PROFITABLE RATE FOR ONE OF ITS MR2 VESSELS

Luxembourg – September 18th , 2024 – d'Amico International Shipping S.A. (Borsa Italiana: DIS) (the "Company"or "DIS"), an international marine transportation company operating in the product tanker market, announces that its operating subsidiary, d'Amico Tankers D.A.C. (Ireland) ("d'Amico Tankers"), signed a new two-year time charter agreement for one of its MR2 vessels, starting at the end of September 2024, with a reputable counterparty at a profitable daily hire rate.

Following the conclusion of this time-charter agreement, DIS has the following estimated forward contract coverage:

  • Q4 2024: 34% of DIS' available vessel days fixed at a TCE rate of approximately US\$ 26,629/day
  • FY 2025: 22% of DIS' available vessel days fixed at a TCE rate of approximately US\$ 24,655/day
  • FY 2026: 15% of DIS' available vessel days fixed at a TCE rate of approximately US\$ 23,743/day

Carlos di Mottola, Chief Executive Officer of d'Amico International Shipping, stated: "I am pleased to announce that DIS has signed a new long-term time-charter-out contract with a reputable counterparty at a very profitable daily rate. Through this deal, we continue to advance our strategic goal of gradually increasing our contract coverage to ensure stable earnings in the months and years ahead, benefitting from strong market fundamentals."
