NEW DELHI: The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday resumed its search at the office of Young Indian (YI) Pvt Ltd at Herald House in the presence of Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, in connection with money laundering allegations in the AJL-National Herald deal.

People familiar with developments said that Kharge was also examined by officers while they were going through documents there. The senior leader was questioned for around seven hours.

Officials familiar with the process said the documents at YI office, which could not be reviewed during Monday's raids, were examined on Wednesday.

Speaking in the Rajya Sabha before heading to Herald House, Kharge, who is the leader of Opposition in the Upper House, said: "I received ED summons, they called me at 12.30pm. I want to abide by law, but is it right for them to summon when Parliament is in session? Is it right for Police to gherao residences of Sonia Gandhi & Rahul Gandhi?.. won't be scared, we'll fight..."

ब्रिटानिया 80 ग्राम से लेकर 400 ग्राम तक के पैकेट में दही बेचती है। पहले ब्रिटानिया के 80 ग्राम के पैकेट वाली दही की कीमत 10 रुपये थी। लेकिन कंपनी ने गुरुवार से इसे बढ़ाकर 15 रुपये कर दिया है।

आरबीआई के फैसले पर नजर

नई दिल्ली, एजेंसी। रिजर्व बैंक मौद्रिक नीति समिति (पीएमसी) की .बैठक का शक्रवार को तीसरा दिन है। इस दिन नीतिगत दरों पर पीएमसी अपना फैसला सुनाएगी। आम लोगों के साथ उद्योग और विश्लेषकों की नजर आरबीआई के फैसले पर है।

नीतिगत दरों को लेकर विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि आरबीआई 0.25 से 0.35 फीसदी तक दरें बढ़ा सकता है। या आर्थिक मोर्चे पर सभी संकेतकों के बेहतर होने से वह ब्याज दरों में वृद्धि का फैसला टाल भी सकता है।

गेल को तिमाही में 91 फीसदी लाभ

नई दिल्ली, हिन्दुस्तान ब्यूरो। गेल (इंडिया) लिमिटेड का चालू वित्त वर्ष की पहली तिमाही ( अप्रैल-जुन ) में कर पश्चात लाभ (पीएटी) 91 फीसदी बढ़कर 2,915 करोड़ रुपये पहुंच गया।

कंपनी ने शेयर बाजार को दी जानकारी में कहा कि समीक्षाधीन अवधि में उसका परिचालन से राजस्व 116 फीसदी बढ़कर 37,572 करोड़ रुपये के स्तर पर पहुंच गया .गेल इंडिया लिमिटेड के मुताबिक पिछले वित्त वर्ष की इसी तिमाही में परिचालन आय 17,387 करोड़ रुपये थी।
