NON-BANKING FINANCE COMPANIES (NBFCs) are likely to rely on securitisation as a funding source led by higher volumes, which will lead to increased disbursements by non-banks after a slowdown. Banks can also improve their retail and priority sector targets through securitisation, Crisil said in a report.

Meanwhile, SFAC has empaneled private banks such as Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, Indusind Bank and ICICI Bank for provisioning of payment and settlement services for e-NAM transactions.

The empanelment of these banks enables collections and settlement of funds to various e-NAM registered beneficiaries across the country.

THE UNION HEALTH ministry on Thursday rushed a multidisciplinary team to Kerala to support the state health authorities after the first case of monkeypox in India was reported from Kerala.

The Central team comprises experts from the National Center for Disease Control, RML Hospital and senior officials from the health ministry along with experts from the regional office of health & family welfare, Kerala.

A person who returned to Kerala from abroad and was hospitalised after showing signs of monkeypox tested positive for the disease, Kerala health minister Veena George said. The authorities will be working with the state health departments and take stock of the situation and recommend necessary public health interventions. The government has been monitoring the situation and coordinating with states in case of any such possibility of outbreaks.

Since January 1 this year, the World Health Organization has reported 3,413 confirmed cases of monkeypox and one

death in 50 countries indicat ing an increase in the spread of cases globally, union health secretary, Rajesh Bhushan, said in a letter to the states. This was to alert the state disease surveillance teams and screening teams at the point of entry. States have been asked to isolate patients till all the Monkeypox lesions have resolved and scabs have completely fallen off. States have been told to identify hospitals that would be equipped to manage suspect or confirmed cases of Monkeypox.

Meanwhile, the country reported 20,139 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday taking the active case load to 1,36,076 with the weekly positivity rate at 4.37% and daily positivity rate at 5.10%.

Sebi disposes of proceedings against Horticultural crops output independent directors of Dish TV

SECURITIES AND THE Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has disposed of the proceedings initiated by a show cause notice against Dish TV independent directors Bhagwan Das Narang, Rashmi Aggarwal and Shankar Aggarwal without any further directions.

In March, the regulator had asked Dish TV India to disclose the results of its shareholder's meeting held in December 2021 within 24 hours. The company did not disclose the results of its annual general meeting citing a pending case in the Bombay High Court. On March 7, Sebi's whole-

time member S K Mohanty passed an ex-parte interim order against Dish TV, its key management employees and the three IDs. Show cause notices were issued to the IDs seeking an explanation for the delay in disclosing the results despite repeated reminders.

INDIA'S PRODUCTION OF horticultural crops consisting of fruits, vegetables, spices, medicinal plants and plantation crops in the crop year 2021-22 (July-June crop year) grew by around 2% to 341 million tonne (MT) against 334 mt reported in 2020-21.

The horticultural crops production continues to be higher than the foodgrain production. As per the third advance estimates for the foodgrains production released in May, India's output of rice, wheat and pulses in 2021-22 crop year was estimated at a record 314.51 MT.

"Increase in production of fruits, vegetables and honey while decrease in production of spices, flowers, aromatics and medicinal plants and plantation crops over previous year, is envisaged," according to an official statement after the release of second advance estimates of

horticultural crops production.

The vegetables production grew marginally to 204.61 MT in 2021-22 compared to 200.4 MT as per the final estimate for 2020-21. The production of onion is estimated to rise by close to 19% to 31.7 MT in 2021-22 against 26.6 MT reported in the previous year.

At the same time, the production of potato is estimated to decline by 4% in the current crop to 53.6 MT from 56.2 MT reported in 2020-21. The output of tomato is estimated to decline by 4% in the current crop year to 20.3 MT compared to 21.18 MT as per final estimate for 2020-21.

In case of fruits production, the second advance estimate pegs the output at 107.1 MT in 2021-22 compared to 102.5 MT reported in the 2020-21 crop year. Amongst the key fruits, banana production is estimated to witness a growth of 6% to 35.13 MT in 2021-22 compared to 2021-22.

पुलिस ने जहांगीरपुरी हिंसा मामले में अदालत में आरोप पत्र दाखिल किया

नई दिल्ली, 14 जुलाई (भाषा)।

दिल्ली पुलिस ने राष्ट्रीय राजधानी के जहांगीरपुरी इलाके में हुई हिंसा के मामले में 45 लोगों के खिलाफ एक अदालत में गुरुवार को आरोप पत्र दाखिल किया। एजंसी ने यह जानकारी दी। अभियोजन ने कहा कि सीसीटीवी फुटेज/वायरल वीडियो के आधार पर 37 आरोपियों में से 20 को गिरफ्तार किया गया। साथ ही आरोपियों की पहचान करने में प्रौद्योगिकी की मदद ली गई। अभियोजन ने कहा कि उसने 34 वायरल वीडियो और इलेक्टानिक मीडिया से एकत्र किए गए 56 वीडियो का विश्लेषण किया।

उल्लेखनीय है कि 2,063 पृष्ठों के आरोप पत्र में गिरफ्तार किए गए 37 आरोपियों के नाम हैं। उनके अलावा आरोप पत्र में और आठ आरोपियों के भी नाम हैं जो फिलहाल फरार हैं। आरोप पत्र में कहा गया है कि कुल नौ आग्नेयास्त्र,पांच कारतस, दो खोखे, नौ

तलवारें, घटना के वक्त 11 आरोपियों द्वारा पहने गए तथा वीडियो में नजर आए कपड़े बरामद किए गए हैं।

जांच एजंसी ने बताया कि उसने आरोपियों के पास से 21 मोबाइल फोन भी जब्त किए। इसने कहा कि कुल 132 गवाहों से जिरह की गई जिनमें से 85 स्रो और 47 आम पलिस आदमी/चिकित्सक और अन्य थे। पुलिस ने कहा कि दो किशारों के खिलाफ प्राथमिकी प्रधान किशोर न्याय बोर्ड के समक्ष दर्ज कराई गई है।

पुलिस ने कहा कि जहांगीरपुरी की घटना संशोधित नागरिकता कानून और राष्ट्रीय नागरिक पंजी के विरोध में शाहीनबाग में 2019 और 2020 में हुए प्रदर्शन और फरवरी 2020 में उत्तर पूर्वी दिल्ली में हुए सांप्रदायिक दंगों की ही अगली कड़ी है।

पुलिस के मुताबिक 10 अप्रैल 2022 को राम नवमी पर हुई घटनाओं के बाद देश के अन्य हिस्सों में भी हिंसा हुई।

एक की हालत गंभीर, आरोपी छात्र गिरफ्तार

दक्षिण दिल्ली के भाटी माइन्स इलाके में स्थित एक सरकारी स्कूल में एक छात्र ने अपने तीन सहपाठियों को कथित रूप से चाकू घोंप कर घायल कर दिया। तीनों को तुरंत पुलिस ने एम्स में इलाज के लिए भर्ती कराया गया। जहां इनमें एक की हालत गंभीर बनी हुई है। पुलिस ने आरोपी छात्र को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।

दक्षिण दिल्ली जिला पुलिस उपायुक्त बेनीटा मेरी जैकर ने गुरुवार को बताया कि संजय कालोनी, भाटी माइन्स में कक्षा 12वीं के 20 वर्षीय छात्र मोहित की अपने सहपाठी अंकुश (19) की बुधवार दोपहर में किसी बात पर बहस

हो गई। उन्होंने बताया कि बहस के बाद दोनों में झगड़ा होने लगा और मोहित ने अंकुश के सीने में

पांडे ने कहा कि पुलिस के मुताबिक हिंदी में लिखे सुसाइड नोट में महिला ने आरोप लगाया है कि वह एक ऐसे व्यक्ति के साथ सहजीवन संबंध में थी, जिसने शादी का झांसा देकर उसके साथ शारीरिक संबंध बनाए लेकिन उससे शादी करने से इनकार कर दिया।

महिला ने कहा कि उसके पास आत्महत्या करने के अलावा कोई विकल्प नहीं बचा था। पुलिस के अनुसार महिला अपने पति से अलग

खिलाफ आत्महत्या के लिए उकसाने का मामला दर्ज किया गया है। इशा पांडे के मुताबिक 'पांच जुलाई को जैतपुर में एक महिला द्वारा आत्महत्या किए जाने

के संबंध में एक पीसीआर से सूचना प्राप्त हुई थी। पुलिस की एक टीम मौके पर पहुंची जहां एक महिला कमरे में फंदे से लटकी हुई थी। उसे तुरंत अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान (एम्स) अस्पताल ले जाया गया जहां चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। पुलिस उपायुक्त ने कहा कि महिला द्वारा फांसी लगाने के लिए इस्तेमाल किए गए मेज के अलावा उसका मोबाइल फोन जब्त कर लिया गया है।

बनाकर साथी महिलाओं को अश्लील संदेश भेजने वाली एक महिला को साइबर पुलिस उत्तरी जिला ने गिरफ्तार किया है। पलिस ने उससे मोबाइल फोन और सिम काडुर्स भी बरामद किए हैं, जिससे वह इस अवैध धंधे को अंजाम दे रही थी। यह गिरफ्तारी साइबर थाना में दर्ज एक 22 साल की

अश्लील संदेश ऐसे आए जिससे उसे पुलिस के पास जाना पड़ा। जांच के दौरान जब गिरफ्तारी हुई तो आरोपी महिला ने बताया कि शिकायत करने वाली महिला भी उसकी साथी ही है लेकिन किसी बात पर उससे मत भिन्नता के कारण उसने समाज में उसे बेईज्जत करने के लिए यह काम किया था।

बाहरी जिला की पुलिस टीम ने संगठित अपराधों पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए चलाए गए अभियान के तहत सात दिनों में कल 39 मामले दर्ज कर 56 अपराधियों को गिरफ्तार किया है। जिनके पास से छह चाक. दो स्कटी, 885 ग्राम गांजा, 2,084 पव्वे अवैध शराब और 32 हजार 215 नगद बरामद किया गया है।

सड़क दुर्घटनाओं पर 'इंटीग्रेटेड रोड एक्सिडेंट डेटाबेस' नाम का मोबाइल ऐप तैयार

सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में हो रही वृद्धि को देखते हुए भारत सरकार के सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय की एक पहल से 'इंटीग्रेटेड रोड ऐक्सिडेंट डेटाबेस' नाम का एक मोबाइल एप बनाया गया है। उत्तरी जिला पुलिस उपायुक्त डीसीपी सागर सिंह कलसी के नेतृत्व में नेशनल इनफार्मेटिकस सेंटर (एनआइसी) ने इंटीग्रेटेड रोड ऐक्सिडेंट डेटाबेस मोबाइल ऐप को लेकर पदाधिकारियों को प्रशिक्षण दिया। इस प्रशिक्षण में उत्तरी जिले के सभी पदाधिकारी मौजूद थे। एनआइसी के एसआरएम कुंदन कुमार के मुताबिक 'घटना की जानकारी

मिलते ही निकटतम पुलिसकर्मी घटनास्थल पर पहंचेंगे तभी इस एप्लीकेशन पर घटनास्थल की पूरी जानकारी जैसे दुर्घटना पर रिपोर्टिंग की तारीख और समय पता करके डालनी होगी। फिर ऐप दुर्घटना स्थल का 'लोंगिटयूड' और 'लेटस्टयूट' अपने आप ले लेगा।

इसके बाद दुर्घटना की गंभीरता, घायलों की संख्या और वाहनों की संख्या देखी जाएगी। भविष्य में इस ऐप को स्वास्थ्य विभाग से भी जोडा जाएगा। जिससे पुलिसकर्मी के ऐप में घटनाक्रम के दर्ज करते ही निकटतम रोड एक्सीडेंट अस्पताल को नोटिफिकेशन चला जाएगा और इसके अनुसार अस्पताल में व्यवस्था की जाएगी और घायलों को जल्द से जल्द इलाज मुहैया कराया जाएगा।

बिजली की बढ़ी दरों के बाद अब रिहायशी संगठनों ने भी सरकार के खिलाफ मोर्चा खोल दिया है। शुक्रवार को आवासीय समूह के संगठन युआरडी ने कहा कि लुटियन दिल्ली के लिए सबसे अधिक कोयले से बनी बिजली की खरीद होती है। लेकिन वहां पर कोई बिजली खरीद समझौता दर (पीपीएसी) लागू नहीं किया गया है। संवाददाता सम्मेलन में यूआरडी के महासचिव यह आदेश सिर्फ प्राइवेट कंपनी को फायदा देने के लिए लाया गया है। उन्होंने $\sqrt{2}$ मांग
