CZR appoints highly experienced Chartered Accountant as CFO and Company Secretary
CZR Resources (ASX: CZR) is pleased to announce that Trevor O'Connor has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary, effective from June 25, 2021.
Mr O’Connor is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Company Secretary with over 25 years’ corporate experience. This includes more than 15 years’ experience in the mining and energy industries operating both in Australia and overseas.
He is currently the Company Secretary of ASX-listed Horizon Gold and was most recently CFO and Company Secretary of Exore Resources and Kasbah Resources.
Stephen Hewitt-Dutton has resigned as Company Secretary. Mr Hewitt-Dutton has been with CZR since 2010 and has been a part of the Company's progress from its initial acquisition of its suite of exploration projects. The Board would like to thank Mr Hewitt-Dutton for his contribution and wishes him well with his new endeavours.
CZR Resources Chairman David Flanagan said: “Stephen has made a huge contribution to the Company over the past 11 years. As a result of this, CZR made some excellent discoveries and acquisitions and remained adequately funded in some challenging markets”.
For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 12.6, Mr O'Connor is also the person responsible for communication between the Company and ASX.
