CY4GATE FULLY REJECTS REPORTS PUBLISHED BY "DOMANI" AND "FOLLOW THE MONEY"

Rome, September 17, 2025 - CY4GATE (CY4.MI), a national and European player in cyber security and cyber intelligence, firmly rejects the allegations made in the article "Public Funds for Spyware: How the EU Finances Cy4Gate" – published today in both the print and online editions of Domani – and in the article "Spyware Industry Pockets EU Subsidies While Snooping on Its Citizens" – published yesterday on the platform "Follow the Money". These claims are entirely unfounded.

The Company wishes to clarify the following:

• It has never received any European subsidies or public subsidies for the development of spyware;
• Between 2020 and 2024, it received approximately € 3.8 million in EU funding, allocated exclusively to research and development activities in the field of cybersecurity, both in the civilian and defense sectors.
