Pending Retirement of Chairman

The Board of Directors of CVC Limited (ASX: CVC) today announce the upcoming retirement of Mr John Read as Chairman and Director of CVC Limited effective 31 March 2020.

Mr Read is CVC’s longest serving Chair, director and officer with over 34 years’ of continuous service with the Company. Mr Read would be considered one of Australia’s most qualified ASX listed public company directors with over 30 years’ experience as a director of numerous ASX listed public companies and over 18 years’ experience as a Chair of a number of ASX listed high growth emergent public companies.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Read for the service he has provided to CVC, including this time of transition and refocus of the Company over the last six months.

Mr Read said “It has been an absolute privilege to be part of the leadership team of one of Australia’s most diverse ASX listed investment companies that has delivered significant annualised returns for all stakeholders over the long term.
