Board Changes and Change Of Registered Office

CVC Limited (‘CVC’) (ASX: CVC) advises that this morning, in the local court of NSW, the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions (‘CDPP’) withdrew all charges against Vanda Gould and John Leaver.

Following the laying of charges by the Australian Federal Police in October 2013, both Messrs Gould and Leaver stepped down as directors whilst they cleared their names and Mr John Read was appointed as Chairman. Messrs Gould and Leaver have consistently maintained their innocence of any wrongdoing.

Nearly seven months after the laying of charges the CDPP has determined that it will not proceed with the charges.

This has been a challenging time for CVC, and more particularly for Messrs Gould and Leaver, as a result of significant negative publicity surrounding the charges. CVC is grateful for the support of all investee companies and their employees, all trading partners and shareholders during this period, which has ensured that CVC has been able to function successfully.

Now that Messrs Gould and Leaver have been cleared of all charges they can resume their lives and begin the process of restoring their credibility. Following this news, Mr Gould has today been re-appointed to the Board and the Board has resolved to also reappoint him as Chairman.

CVC and the Board thank Mr Read for his stewardship as Chairman during this period, and for his willingness to take on the role under the circumstances.

CVC further advises that it has today moved offices to Level 6, Goldfields House, 1 Alfred Street Sydney.
